Lithography
Lithography, also called offset printing, is a planographic method of printing that uses an aluminum plate to print an image. It works by transferring the images on the metal plates to rollers or rubber blankets and then to print media that could be anything from paper to wood, canvas, or cloth.
The print media doesn’t directly come into contact with the roller or rubber blankets, increasing the life of the plates. In addition, the flexibility of the rubber blankets allows lithography to print on all kinds of rough surfaces. The main benefit of offset printing is that it produces high-quality and consistent images.
